The horizon divides the land from the sky like the corner in a wall. A wide-angle pinhole camera traces the accurate line of the horizon with an unusual distortion. As Cappadocia is a wide and curly landscape full of branched valleys it loses perspective and horizon. The landscape flattens to an inaccurate height profile.
