For years the Taksim square has been a place of dispute, protest and misconception. The western-looking design concept is communicated on large established barricades on the Taksim Square. The result is a discrepancy between the architecture templates and the found physical expression of the place in the middle of a Muslim society.
\nThe series „Dreams of Taksim“ documents the external influence of the plastered barricades in an experimental way.<\/p>\n
Seit Jahren ist der Taksim-Platz ein Ort des Streits, des Protests und von Missverst\u00e4ndnissen. Das westlich anmutende Gestaltungskonzept wird auf gro\u00df aufgestellten Absperrschildern auf dem Taksim-Platz kommuniziert. Es entsteht eine Diskrepanz zwischen den modellhaft Architekturvorlagen und der vorgefundenen baulichen Gestalt des Platzes inmitten einer muslimisch gepr\u00e4gten Gesellschaft.
